The Children’s Treehouse offers Pick Up at the Store Location, as well as shipping to anywhere in Canada or the US. You can choose which option you would prefer in Checkout. We primarily ship via Canada Post only. We can ship to international destinations if requested. Please contact us directly in regards to USA and international destinations rather than proceeding through Checkout. We will give you a shipping quote and you can decide if you want to continue with your order.
Pick Up at the store:
We will contact you when your order is ready for pick up. Please allow time for processing.
Your order will be held at the store for one week for pick up.
If the item is not picked up we will contact you and ask if you would like the item delivered for a shipping or delivery fee. We will continue to hold for another 3 days for pickup and then the item will be returned to the store and you will be refunded.
Shipping or delivery is one address per order!!
How long will it take to get my shipment?
For orders within Canada we ship via Canada Post Expedited Parcel. Your order will ship out within 2-5 business days. Within British Columbia, you should receive your order within 1-3 business days from the shipping date. Outside of British Columbia, orders can take 3-7 business days. Shipping internationally? That might take approximately 7-10 business days, although please be aware that is approximate.
We are happy to express ship to you but please note that there will be an additional fee.
How much does shipping cost?
In store pick up is always free.
We offer flat rate fees for deliveries within Canada so that you know what to expect when you get to the checkout. Shipping within Canada is $30. Free shipping for orders over $100 before taxes. (Except for oversized products)
Some oversize products may be subject to additional delivery fees. We will contact you with a shipping quote on the item(s) and you will then have the option of proceeding with purchase or declining. A refund will be issued to you should you decide not to go ahead with the order.
Shipping to the US starts at $30, and may be subject to additional shipping fees. We will contact you with a shopping quote on the item(s) and you will then have the option of proceeding with purchase or declining. A refund will be issued to you should you decide not to go ahead with the order.
What about international orders?
Orders shipped outside of North America will be charged the actual cost of shipping. Your cart will be charged the original $30 flat rate shipping, and you will be invoiced for any additional charges. If you prefer not to go ahead with the order we will cancel your order and refund your card.

Once your order is shipped, we will send you a confirmation e-mail that will include your tracking number. You'll be able to check the status of your order on-line by entering your tracking number.
If you can't find your tracking number please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org .

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you'll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn't marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
We take pride in the products we carry. If for whatever reason you are unhappy with your purchase please return it to us unopened, in its original packaging, (any shrink wrap intact) within 14 days of purchase, with the original invoice. We will accept returns via Canada Post, or at our storefront location (15-3200 North Island Hwy, Country Club Centre, Nanaimo, BC V9T 0B7) and you will receive a refund for the full amount. The refund will be via the same method as purchase.
Return postage must be prepaid and will not be reimbursed.
If no receipt is sent or if the return is made after 14 days only store credit will be issued.
All purchases of sale items are final; no refunds or store credits available.
For mail-in returns:
1. Pack the item in its original box and include your packing slip or receipt .
2. Contact us for a return merchandise authorization number (RMA) and mark the number on the outside of the parcel to be returned to us.
3. Consider insuring your package in case it is lost or damaged in transit. We are not responsible for items that are lost or damaged during shipping.
