The Valais Blacknose Sheep, a breed native to Switzerland, is characterized by its dark pigmentation, especially on its nose and around its eyes, which contrasts with the white color of its wool. Adapted to the harsh conditions of mountainous regions, its traditional farming is often linked to transhumance, where herds are moved between summer and winter pastures. This breed is part of conservation programs aimed at preserving the species and its genetic heritage. The wooden Papo Farm is also available in the same collection and serves as the ideal play environment for the figurines. For almost 25 years, Papo has been creating high-quality figurines that inspire children's imagination.
